DieCast Track Racing (DCTR)

So you ever wanted to bring those precious die cast collectible cars out on the race track? This might be just the right place to come then.

Die Cast Track Racing – as opposed to DieCast Drag Racing or HO Slot Car Racing – is a table top casual game concept that uses DieCast aproximately 1:64 scale toy cars or collectors models to represent the players on the board and dice, events cards and counters to determine progress of the game – which is played in turns – and eventually it’s winner.

There will be two quite different games in the Traditional ChromeBlack Rules configuration.

Burnin’Wheels DCTR Chrome Edition: Is a „roll and run“ style simple fun game, suitable even for minors. It will not involve a great deal of special situations or characteristics but quite simple and fast rules for an easy approach to track racing.

Burnin’Wheels DCTR Black Edition: Will be an ambitious and challenging racing board game comparable to Formula Next Generation but using car fields to represent the position of cars on the track and stat cards to represent the car and it’s condition, the driver and his or her abilities and the track and it’s condition. In addition to that event cards and counters are used to determine special actions and dangers and dice are used for determining the current game progress including but not limited to track speed.

This site will eventually provide access to both games, but currently only the DCTR Chrome Editon is under semi-active devellopment.

Instead of event cards the beta versions use event tables.

Have fun…
