There are two Burnin’Wheels DCTR rules sets. The more basic and laid back DCTR Chrome Edition rules set addresses younger or new players seeking a quick entry into DieCast Track Racing (DCTR). The more advanced DCTR Black Edition rules set addresses players that want to simulate a race using die cast ar models.

Both rules sets can be used with both track styles (poster or tiled), but the DCTR Chrome Edition rules ignore specialities like level crossings or traffic on road courses and pace cars, flags or pit stops on race couses. Also the DCTR Chrome Editio rules are generally lighter on statistics and modifiers.
